We had a great weekend in Charleston. Here is a short recap--
We drove all day Thursday. Kylie was a great traveller! Sean's parents had dinner for us--fresh Mahi Mahi--it was great.
Friday we ran a few errands and went out to lunch with Sean's dad and sister. We were invited to the rehersal dinner. They had 130 people there and a DJ. It was like a mini-reception.
Saturday we went to see Thomas, Sean's BFF and his family. Sean is his youngest child's godfather. We had a ton of fun playing computer, trains and running around outside with Andrew (4) and Charlie (3). We then went to the wedding. It was nice. The reception was at a nice place on the water. Funny thing is that the happy couple is going to St. Lucia on their honeymoon too!
Sunday we got to have a nice breakfast and then hit the road.
I got to spend some quality time with Sean's sister Elizabeth this trip. It was great. We actually got some private time to chat. It was nice to learn more about her! I think we spend the perfect amount of time in Charleston--not enough to overstay our welcome but enough time that we can't wait to go back!
Back to work yesterday--bummer!
