So we had our baby checkup yesterday. All is well. I actually lost two pounds but the Dr. wasn't concerned. I really think it is because this cold is totally killing my appetite--all I want to do is sleep! The Dr. went over what meds I can take and actually said I looked and sounded bad. Wonderful thanks Doc!
The Dr. found the heartbeat and it was steady and strong. Sean loves hearing it--he gets this stupid grin on his face!
It is Sean's b-day today but we are going to lay low. He went to the Dermatologist yesterday just to get checked out and for the Dr. to look at this bump on his lip. This bump was there a few years ago and another derm took it off--well its back! This new Derm did a biopsy so my honey has 3 stitches in his upper lip! So the wings and beer celebration will have to be postponed. Boo! He gets the stitches out in 10 days or so.

Fat girl, fat girl, fat girl
So, if last week wasn't bad enough with me not losing anything, this week I gained 3 lbs. I have been soooo tired all week, I don't know what is wrong with me. Other than I have been eating tons of sweets and not eating 3 full meals and not drinking my water and not working out?!?!?!
I am going back on the wagon tomorrow. Tonight I am going to see if my Mom and Hal will watch Reagan so Brian and I can go out to dinner together.

Future In-Laws Are Here!!!
So Elena's Mom and Dad arrived on Saturday afternoon and it's been really great having them. I'd post pictures of all the work we've done to the house but my camera is in the other room where Elena is sleeping. Her mom is working her to death. :-)
Do you think it's bad when Elena's mom asked Elena while pointing to me, "Is she always like this?" At first I laughed it off but the more I think about it that wasn't good. :-) Just kidding I think she likes my sense of humor. :-)
Tonight we have dinner with the parents. Duhm du duhm duhm. We're going to the place we had my parents anniversary party. I'm not nervous but Elena is trying to take me down with her. She has already asked me to pour her a double Red Bull and Vodka while she is showering. :-) What's teh worst that could happen, right?
Well...stay tuned, I'll blog again tomorrow. :-)

Today's weight
Last week I was 205 and this week I am 205. Not bad considering:
No working out
No drinking water
Smores on the camp-out
Twizzlers on the camp-put
3 (at least) handfulls of chocolate chips last night
Fried pickles and fried corn fritters (PS, I bought Brian a fryer for his birthday and the man is in heaven. I did tell him that this can not be an everyday thing. He has made fries and other stuff that I haven't eaten, so that's a good thing)
No wonder I'm a fat ass!

My new favorite site
So, I am addicted. I can spend hours on this site. It is the new place for me to get gifts. Yes, I could make most of them myself, but who has the time?
This is what I bought Beth and Sarah. Only I got 30 stems for each of them. Beths is the same blue shades as this one (came today) and Sarahs will be pink, green and white (should be here in a week or so). I am so excited and I know that they will love them. Hello there friends...

Sorry I have not posted in a while. I am a slacker! Kirk has been traveling like crazy. He is away this week in TX and next week in OH. Next week will be the third week this month he has been away. No fun but, it should slow down after June. Fingers Crossed :o). Not too much new to report...have been keeping busy at work and home, taking GM to Dr appts, hitting the gym, ADA meetings etc. Also, been helping with coordinating an engagement bbq for my friend Jaimie. Her parents are doing most but, the bridesmaids are helping too. You may recall Jaimie was my running buddy and she is my co-worker. I am a bridesmaid in her wedding set for March 14th in Miami...so Turn you will have some visitors in March 2010 :o).
We had a wonderful trip to Amelia with Blain and Loretta. I posted pics on facebook but, I will post a link here too in case you want to see the rest of pics.

It was so nice being together and just hanging out. It was good for everyone. B & L are planning to move to Toronto summer of 2010. We figured soon they would move east. Wish they would move here but, at least they will be closer and in same time zone. They just would like to be near family and buy a home and that isnt happening in LA. So, it will be good for everyone...we can just fly to Buffalo and drive to toronto. They can get cheaper flts from buff here too. JP and Lucy are also moving for 2 years to New Zealand where Lucy's family is from...Lucy needs to finish getting her teaching certifications and it is just easier there. That was a big surprise. Anyway, we did our best to make Mother's day special for GM...tough day for everyone. I really miss my Mom...it doesn't ever go away. We went swimming at her house and did a mexican theme dinner - taco bar to flan. JP and Lucy were there too.
Not much else new. No plans for memorial weekend as Kirk leaves on Monday early afternoon. I think Dad will have GM and I over on Monday. Saturday we will probably hit the WP farmers market (we have been doing that a lot lately on Sat mornings...the fruit/veggies are much cheaper than publix and they have these awesome veggie bagel sandwiches that we get...yum!). We may also do some planting...our petunias have had it. So, time for a change.
Looking forward to our July 4th weekend...I will update you as soon as Kirsten hears back from her friend. We will keep you posted. Have a fabulous 3 day weekend and keep in touch buds!
